Our Philosophy

KATHRYN BRICKELL MUSIC has offered quality private music instruction to students in Nassau, Suffolk, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island for over 20 years.

We offer 30, 45 and 60-minute lessons in the student's home on all instruments including piano, keyboard, voice, guitar (electric and acoustic), bass and drums as well as orchestra and band instruments.

We teach all styles of music including classical, rock, pop, Broadway and jazz.

We believe that music study builds confidence and self-esteem and improves concentration.

We are committed to appropriate student-teacher matching. Our experienced professionals conduct a phone interview in which we ask you what qualities you seek in a teacher. We carefully assess the student and assign an appropriate teacher.

We do not use one standardized method to instruct all of our students. We prefer to carefully tailor each program of study to suit the needs of the individual student.

We have special, unique, and proven successful programs for all students wishing to study music.
