Welcome to music lessons with Kathryn Brickell Music!
You will find a web-adapted synopsis of our Policies below. I hope you will find it simple, direct and convenient. The full version includes payment details that we do not publish on the web for the sake of the privacy of our students.
This is a cancellation/business policy that we will email to you. We will ask you to email the policy back to us with your name and a statement that you agree to our policies. We strive to offer our students the best in education as well as customer service. If the conduct of your teacher is unprofessional in any way or if you have any other problems or questions, please notify me immediately (Kathryn at 1-800-285-5732).
We highly encourage all students to participate in our annual recital the third Saturday in June at the United Methodist Church of Sea Cliff, an airy modern hall with a Steinway concert grand piano. It is truly an exciting and enriching event for all of our students!
Thank you for your cooperation and thank you for choosing to study with KBM. We hope you will have a successful learning experience with us.
Don’t hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns relating to your music lessons.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Brickell,director
BASIC POLICY
Our teachers are of a very high quality and their time is valuable. They set their schedule with a special time reserved just for you. If you cancel late, your spot is empty and the teacher must wait until the next student when they could have scheduled someone else or re-worked their schedule. If you have an emergency, this is not the fault of the teacher and they cannot be penalized. Below is our policy. Please be considerate in this regard.
- If the teacher arrives at your home and the student is not there, the lesson must be paid for.
[If there are 2 students in the home and 1 cancels, either the teacher must be notified with 24 hours notice or the other student shall take the absent students lesson.] - Cancelled lessons must be called in to your teacher with 24 hour's notice to avoid charges for the lesson.
- Books provided by the teacher must be reimbursed by the student upon receipt.
- Please pay a one-lesson refundable deposit online at www.kbmusiclessons.com.
