Wind Instrument Lessons
A wind instrument is a type of musical instrument that requires the player to blow into a tube or mouth piece. This mouth piece is either metal or in some cases a reed is used. In either case, the air is blown into the instrument and then creates a vibration that will go through a column into the instrument and create music.
There are many wind instruments to choose from. Some types are the saxophone, flute, clarinet and oboe. Included in this group are also the piccolo and the bassoon. Before taking wind instrument lessons, it is a great idea to do a little research. You can search the internet, speak to the music department at school, go listen to an orchestra and find out as much information you can. Once you have investigated properly, then you can then make a decision as to the type of instrument you would like to play. Once you have made your decision, you may choose to either rent or buy the wind instrument of your choice and start your wind instrument lessons with Kathryn Brickell Music.

It will teach them discipline and give them a sense of achievement but most importantly, your child will have fun. Learning to play the first piece with a teacher may be a little frustrating in the beginning, but the sense of satisfaction you/your child will have, when done properly with the right amount of guidance is just priceless. With the amount of stress many children are under these days, it is important for them to be creative, have fun and relieve stress. It is the type of activity that can be done alone or with a group and more importantly, any music will be a reflection of their personality.
